Actually no fault is for medical only. My insurance paid my bill for my evaluation and his insurance company is paying the damage. If there were a permanent injury then their insurance company gets sued. I spoke with my insurance company and they are paying the cost minus my deductible so I can get the truck fixed ASAP. They are then submitting a claim to his insurance company and once they pay I get my deductible back. They are paying for a New and not used bumper and a new hitch.

Apparently there are a lot of people that don't understand how state "no Fault" insurance laws work. Their is no such thing as the other guy pays (even if he is at fault - that's why it's called "No Fault"). Plain and Simple the OP's insurance pays to fix the damage, end of story.
So the OP's insurance company will decide for themselves whether the hitch needs replacing or not; cause the OP's insurance company is still the one on the hook if the hitch fails down the road sometime.
