So to speed up the process of my claim my insurance company wanted to look at my truck and pay for it until they got the money from the other insurance company. I went in and they said new bumper and salvage yard trailer hitch. I said I want a new hitch because I don't know what the used hitch has been through.I asked him if they would sign a waiver to cover the hitch and he laughed at me and said we don't owe you a new hitch. Even my claims person was pissed and said it is unacceptable and they said tough. They wonder why people try to screw them over. I left and said I will wait to deal with the other persons insurance. If they pay for a new hitch then I am switching insurance companies. If they don't then I will file a complaint. With all the money paid to them they are bickering over a 150 dollar difference.
