Of course. The older Forest Service campgrounds and NPS campgrounds in the West are often dated and don't fit trailer larger than about 25-28 feet.

It is totally common to hear people write "we have a 38 foot fifth wheel and have no problems anywhere."
That's because they don't try to take them a lot of places.
