Trailer Length

My wife and I currently own a Rockwood Ulta Lite and are considering purchasing a Jay Flight Travel Trailer that is 38 feet long. Our current unit is 35 feet long. The sales person seemed quite surprised that we were going to tow is vs leave it on a site. Initially the three feet didn't seem to make much difference but his words keep creeping up in the back of my mind. Any reason I should be concerned?

    At those lengths I think fifth wheels make more sense. Something to consider if you've got enough truck to handle one.

    I think the weights would be more important than overall length. Our new trailer is 37 ft. our old trailer was 34ft. No problems at all, but the weights also fit within all the tow vehicle specs.
