I have a Silverado 1500 LS that is factory set up for towing. Max tow of 9800# payload of 1430#. 2wd long bed regular cab (for thr DW & myself). This truck has an "increased strength frame" (I believe that the Avalanche is unibody!)
With that said I have a 5300# gross TT with a 530# tounge, that is the max TT I would tow!
