Thanks everyone for the helpful replies! This really helps me clear this all up.
The trailer did not come with any cables at all, only a 15ampt to 110v pig tail, but nothing for the 30amp socket. I'll contact the seller and see if he still has it.
I had the overload experience at home, I had my other TT plugged into the house on a circuit with the kitchen on it. I was testing out the AC, refer in the house kicked on, breaker tripped.
My ignorance is because I've always dry camped. I own a pop up and another TT, but I've literally never once hooked either of them up to shore power or city water at a campground, so I have no idea what all these various outlets are or why they aren't all just good old fashioned 120v plugs.
The pup and other TT both have the wired cords you mention, and both came with the 15amp to 110v adapter so at home I just plugged both in and they worked. This new TT has the 30amp socket, which I've never seen, and came with no cords at all, only the pigtail that doesn't fit it, hence me need to ask the questions. I hope this clears up your confusion :)

I am sort of confused here somewhat - You have indicated you have had a POPUP and a TT before but yet seems to asking the most simple questions about 30AMP trailers???
