MicahDD,
I think you are still a little foggy on the terminology. What you need from the dealer is the 30amp shore power cord. What you currently have is a 30amp to 15amp adapter. It's all 120v. It's been stated before but at almost all RV parks with power there will be a post that allows you to plug the shore power cord direct, no adapter needed. I'm sure that there are few parks that may not have the 30 amp capacity and only have the 15amp plugin. That is where you will use the adapter, and of course at home.
Hi Marsland, you're right I'm foggy on the whole thing.
This is the adapter that came with the trailer:

This is the socket that's on the trailer:

As you can see, these things do not work together :)
So I don't really know what to do. I think I need something that adapts from the socket on the trailer to the large end of the pigtail that came with the trailer, right? Then I'd be able to plug into my household outlets by using the pigtail (first picture)?
And for shore power, I could then plug from the 30amp socket into a 15amp plug at the campground? Why would the trailer have a 30amp socket and then I have to use an adapter to turn that into a 15amp plug? Why isn't it all just standard?
I'm so confused.
And now, on top of this stuff that I clearly don't understand, while backing into my drive way the rear-bumper skid guards hit. They also drug a few times going in and out of a gas station on the way home. Not hard, but enough that I noticed it every time. And now one of my side panels has popped out, so now I think I might have bent the frame.
This is turning into a mess.
