Trailer Stolen with Man Inside!

It doesn't say he was shooting at the driver. It says he was shooting at the pickup truck. I'd put a round through that back window too, just to let him know he had some company, -IF- I could do so without falling from the trailer and if the rounds could be aimed at the truck, not fired willy-nilly. After all, that is the true definition of gun control -hitting your target. In this situation, who cares about somebody else's mailbox or cat that happened to be around. It's easy to see that the victim (that's the guy that owns the trailer and is being kidnapped, not the thief stealing it like some of you would think), felt himself in mortal danger and was doing what he considered necessary to protect himself.
