trailer vers 5th wheel

I have pulled both and prefer the 5th wheel. Yes you can get a pretty good towing ride with a TT but mine was due to having equalizer + sway control. The clearence of a trailer has nothing or very little to due when being pulled down the highway when talking "control". 5th wheel trailers tend to pull easier and it has a more natural feel to it. Manuvering is easier as well. But i think the question that you need to answer is less of how it is to pull and more of what you need in a trailer. So my suggestion is get to the RV dealership and walk through both that are in your price range. Think about what you will be using it for. A lot of trailers can look amazing inside because they put a lot of attention in cosmetics. Really take a look at the functionality of it. Such as counter space and cabinents (Storage).
