Trailer weight capacity/axle weight capacity
Placard says trailer weight capacity is 3675 Lbs .. Single Axle rating max says 3500 lbs. How can a manufacturer say that the trailer maximum weight capacity is more than the one axle equipped ratin...

Because 10% or more (depending on type of trailer) is not supported by the axles, it's supported by the tongue/pin.
