That makes a certain amount of sense. But then how does something like the Hensley Cub work, which definitely locks out the pivot point? I guess in my physics-challenged brain, I figure if you take an 8 foot trailer and hook it to a 15 foot vehicle, with no pivot point on the hitch, you now just basically have a 22 foot two-axle vehicle. Is that not a correct analogy?
From what I can tell, the Cub doesn't lock up the hitch, just limits the movement to a large degree.
