And Tires. Does it still have the original tires. If so. That would be part of the problem. Very soft, and squishy.

X2 Also does your WD have some form of sway control

Speaking from experience, I went from an '09 F150 to a 2016 F150 and a heavier TT with no fish tailing problem. Used the same 1000,10000# Equal-i-zer hitch to which I made minor adjustments.

Yes. I have heard the new trucks are prone to sway more than the previous gen. Make sure the WD is setup properly and increase the tongue weight on the trailer. It seems that when loaded more, the new F150 will settle down better.

From what I read, it is more sensitive to trailer sway, so getting the WD setup correctly is critical.

It does seem like a hitch adjustment might be in order.

Is your hitch set up for your old truck or this new one?
