Transfer case problems
I posted earlier about my 03 Silverado 2500HD whining. After finding the pump in pump in the transfer case was bad I thought I found it. The transfer case now has all new bearings, seals, fork inserts...

I'll take that with a grain of salt. Plenty of Fords out there with worse problems than I am having.
Stopped at a dealer today and they think it is the transfer case. I drained the fluid after 100 miles and it was dark and full of metal flake again. I am going to drive it and plan on a new transfer case. I found a sight on Ebay that has a brand new Magna transfer case for 1,300.00 with no core. It seems cheap, but they have great reviews. Any opinions ?
