Transmission service

Any options on transmission service: draining vs flushing. I know draining doesn't get the torque converter. Have a 2016 Tundra and the dealers have varied opinions on service as well as mileage intervals. Some say 100,000 mi. Any info will be appreciated.

    No dipstick is bs. Our new HL is the same way. From what I've seen, a bit of a chore to drain and refill correctly.
    With towing, 50K is probably a good idea. I'll be curious how your ATF looks.

    Thanks. On the 2016 you can't check the fluid level. I am leaning on just draining around 50,000 mi

    Unless your fluid is badly burned, there is no need to drain the converter.
    You can help your transmission by selecting lower gears on hills. I've run Toyotas over a 100K and never changed the trans oil.
