Been on the road, so harder to keep up with the thread. Yes, my truck has both the dash gauge and the numerical read-out. Guess I have no worries. Pulling the 5th over the Bighorns was NO issue (Hwy 14, not 14-alt!). Tran temp never got over 205. Today over Emigrant Pass (I-80, Nevada) and the 40 mile desert, at 70 mph and near 100 degree temp, and again trans not over 205, and usually lower. I love this Ecoboost. Did make a rookie mistake and made the brakes smell bad on the 18 mile 6-7% downhill, but now know downshifting much better!
