Travel Lite Illusion

The new Illusion series from Travel Lite looks interesting. The bathroom on the 1100RX looks like a great idea for a wet/dry hybrid. What are previous years of Travel Lite campers reputations like?

  • Glad to see such impressive endorsements. I think that this is the future of TCs that will include, once again, young families. The present trend of ever larger and more expensive TCs is troubling.
  • I love the looks of them! like the clean graphics, like the bathroom idea. I would have to have the 10' unit with the slide, but would be unsure about buying a unit with wood framing with a slide. What do you guys think? it didn't work out so well in the early 2000's for Lance, (cracked framing, sagging etc). I'm also concerned about delaminations with the Filon on wood. The early AF's had a lot of problems with this, I just don't know, I like a wood framed camper there warmer, etc. And with metal siding it can be repaired, but with Filon your %&^* out of luck I think!
  • I really like the Illusion series also.:B I like the non basement set up, like our old Fleetwood. I really dislike all the steps needed on those tall basement, slide out type units. I don't care about overhung tanks getting too cold either. Just need them big enough. No cassette toilets is a good thing too.
  • I also have a 2012 Travel Lite 960RX and love it. I have had no issues of any kind and never had a warranty claim either. The Illusion series is going to be a big hit for Travel Lite especially the price. I really like the graphics and the gold-flake Granite table and countertop with the backsplash. The keyless entry door lock is a nice feature also. Looks like a great buy for the money.
