Most brands build a range of product lines across various price points.
Aluminum framed with Filon or smooth glass/plastic sides are common in what I think most folks would call mid to upper grade units. A quick scan through manufacturer literature should be easy to spot smoothe sided lines versus the metal sided ones which are more frequently wood framed sides and walls.
