No problem with moisture. The ADCO and Classic Accessories brand covers which are the big 2 brands are breathable fabric on the sides with waterproof tyvec roof. as well as having multiple vents along each side to get rid of moisture. I switched from ADCO to Classic Accessories because of better warranty.

Live but a few miles north of you, and I keep mine covered. Had a ADCO that lasted about 18 months till it finally ended it's life during a pretty severe storm.
Got lazy and cheap and decided not to cover it again for about the next 18 months, and in that time I could start to see the effects of sun damage, especially on the caulking. I went with a brand called Classic Accessories that I found on Amazon and I went with the cheaper Poly Pro 3 version to save a few bucks. I figure it I can anything over about 3 years out of one, I'm ahead of the game.

Just pad the corners and anything that could rip the cover.

I went through 2 ADCO covers on my TT in 4 years.. They distintigrated in the sun and wind. Did not like their warranty. They replaced the first "moderate weather" cover when it ripped apart in 1 1/2 years with a 2 year warranty.. HOWEVER, their stipulation was I had to pay $100 plus freight and upgrade to their "all weather" cover with tyvek roof. It had a 3 yr warranty but they told me it would have NO warranty since it was a replacement. ( even though it cost me $100 plus $30 freight). That cover lasted 2 winters and fell apart again! So I am done with ADCO and went to a Classic Accessories ripstop nylon cover called "Sunshield" with a tyvek roof. They are more expensive ( this one was $450) but they have a 4 year unconditional replacement warranty. I has been on just 4 months, looks great. We shall see how it does!
NO QUESTION you should cover your expensive investment if you expect it to stay looking nice and not have expensive decals fade out !

I`ve had mine covered for 10 years. I had 2 Addco covers in that time. Always covered in the winter. You will need to pad the corners and anything that protrudes so you don’t have the cover tear at those points. I like them for outdoor storage. Takes about an hour to pad everything and get the cover on. Well worth the small investment.

The problem with A/C covers is any I've seen are vinyl and trap moisture. I made the mistake of using one once and in the spring found mold over over the inside of the cover and the A/C shroud. Any trailer I've ever owned over 20 yrs has either been stored indoors over the winter or has been wearing a winter cover. It's not so much about protecting the trailer itself but all the caulked seams and the awning which take a beating from the constant freeze / melt / freeze cycle we see here during the winter. Your choice. ;)

My only experience is with an ADCO cover and it got me through five seasons of storage before it began coming apart.

Here's what I always answer regarding RV covers. We have stored our RVs in a 300 space outdoor RV storage lot for over 20 years. I see new RVs come in to the lot and for the first year the RV owner will cover their RV. After the first year I rarely see the RV covered. I would guess over the 20 + years there have been about 80 RVs where they are covered for the first year or so and then you never see the cover again. Of the 300 RVs on the lot only 10 or so ever have covers at any given time.

I think it ends up to be too much of a pain in the --- to put on and take off the covers.

Our first TT we had for 16 years, our current 5th wheel we've had for 22 years. Neither one were covered and sat out in the Southern California weather 6 miles from the ocean (salt air) 24/7. I wash my RV before each trip and after the trip if we camp at the beach and wax the RV every couple of years. Both the 16 year old and the 22 year old still look new when washed and waxed.

The edpm roof on the 22 year old is just now needing to be replaced or a new coating spread over it. Otherwise there has been no weather related issues with either RV.

My vote is for no cover...
