When we were looking at trailers, the mid bath models seemed less common in the shorter ones. Rather, they were usually rear bath with the kitchen/living/bed areas more or less open (or if the bed area was enclosed it was rather cramped).
It was mostly longer trailers with the mid bath. We ended up with a 28.5' mid bath, rear kitchen model where the shower and sink are not enclosed, opening up the bedroom area:

We're quite happy with this layout.
