Hi all, I've been looking for a tow behind travel trailer for a couple of months and getting a little discouraged. I'm 6'3" and have not found one yet where I comfortably fit in the shower head to toe and many of them width wise. I've been looking in the 18' to 26' range new and used. I only need it to sleep two and weigh 7500 GVW or less. No bunk beds and I prefer tandem axles. Is there such an animal. Do any of you own one? Thanks!

Good luck. I am 6'1" and have never found one that I could stand upright in the shower anywhere except directly under the skylight. Even there, I had no excess room above me.

Rockwood, Nash, Arctic Fox, Outdoors RV.The Rockwood head room is 6'6". Use the outdoor shower if you don't fit.

I am 6'4" tall and have same problem. I seldom use RV shower though as we typically do not have water/waste hookup at the type of campgrounds we prefer. I just suffer. :)However, there are some lines with taller ceilings. Check out Jayco JayFlight with 81" of interior height.

Look at brands with an arched ceiling. We have that and it makes the interior seem a lot bigger. I'm under 6' so doesn't help for that. I don't think I've ever seen a TT with the shower not against the exterior wall but haven't paid attention to that. While an arched ceiling will help a bit, the ceiling height gets back to standard at the exterior wall due to the tapered trusses.If you're not a senior citizen yet, wait until you are and you may have lost a couple of inches or more. Problem solved, lol... :)

Look for curved/arched roof models. Beyond that, all I can recommend is to consider 5th wheelers- they are generally taller inside.

Hi all , I wanted to give an update to my original post. I just bought a 2016 Evergreen I-Go 235RBS. Ceiling height is 81" so not too bad. I'll still have to duck a little in the shower but everything else is good and it seems to be a good quality rig. Evergreen went out of business in 2016 but I didn't see that as much of an issue. Thanks to all for the replies, it is greatly appreciated.

I'm 6'7". We recently bought a Forest River Cherokee 274vfk. Love the travel trailer and I have plenty of room in it. I can stand up straight and not hit the ceiling. It also has a large shower enclosure with a skylight above.

I'd recommend giving one a look.

Our first (a 14' hitch to bumper)had 6' 1" ceiling with the A/C in the middle by the stove. It took 2 days camping and a bandaid or two to remember to duck going from aft head to fwd. couch. ;-)

Im 6'3 and my first travel trailer was a Primetime Tracer. I fit fine in it, and in the shower. Second was Primetime Lacrosse, same thing... Fit fine and headroom in shower. Current RV Grand Design Reflection 5th wheel. Equally fine.

I've found there's a pretty good selection out there. Yes, in most cases it involves a skylight in the shower. No big deal for me there.

Research “Outdoors RV” travel trailers. My interior height is 6’11”. My 24RLS (see signature) fits most of your desired requirements. It is perfect for us (me, DW, and the dog): comfortable, rear picture window, 4 Season.

I'm a little guy 6'7", we just got into a grand design imagine, their interior height allows me to stand upright, more importantly, not hit my head. The shower is a bit tight, except under the skylight. Our two previous campers were a starcraft popup with a slide, which offered me the ability to stand upright. And more recently, we just replaced our Jayflight bunkhouse model with slide. The slide out generally gives more head room.

I am 6'3" and I can shower in my 2012 Fun Finder, no problem. Maybe visit a Fun Finder dealer and see if the newer models still have enough headroom?

Yes I know I had a 5th wheel before but don't want another one.
