My TT came with a two-step entry and I replaced it with a 3 step unit because I got tired of hauling my big butt up 2-12 inch steps and found the 3-8 inch steps easier to navigate. My guess is that they are all essentially two feet off the ground, it's just a question of 8 inch steps vs 12 inch ones.
