Here is a dumb question. Are most larger travel trailer hitch heights higher than 17.5"? I have a Silverado with a WDH that has the extra drop shank on it so no holes towards the top of the shank. ...

You might need one like the pic in MitchF150's post so you can use the full range of holes both up and down.
