Travel Trailer Length

Easy question that I have searched for answers but seem to be unable to find - is a travel trailer length determined by the length from the bumber to the hitch or from the bumper to the end of the trailer box/cabin?

    Most commonly its the length of the box. But if you are looking at campsites or parking spots, you want the overall length, tip to tip.

    My wife says trailer length is determined by the length of the box she lives in. For me, the trailer length is determined by the total length I have to pull, so it includes the entire hitch.
