We do not know the whole story and we all know there are 3 sides to every story. To say this dealership is an exception to what most dealers would do is a pretty big reach. Any dealership when asked about your situation will say that they would handle it with a complete refund. However, put them in the identical situation with this same customer and my guess is they would keep some if not all of the deposit. Cold feet is not a legitimate excuse to back out of a deal unless there is a 72 hour clause in the contract and you exercise that clause with in the 72 hours.
