One item that has not been mentioned is wheel-base.
I've been towing for 20? years and each tow vehicle I purchase, I increase the wheelbase. The longer the better.
Your MDX will make towing a misery - I had a Jeep Cherokee and although it had the power/capabilities to tow, the wheelbase made interstate driving a white knuckle affair. I now have a Chevy full size van 3500 towing a 27ft camper - a dream combination for me.
You may want to consider a van to tow - we use ours as storage for motorcycle, bikes and other "stuff" and it's always locked away.
Look at a used van - you can get some good ones for < $10K and get the V8 for its towing capabilities. I get about 12mpg on mine towing and that's about as good as you'll get.
On the TT - 2 adults and a baby - I would not go below 24ft TT; you'll have enough space so you don't feel "trapped". For me, a slideout is a must and we opted for a floor plan with NO dinnete. This free ups more for living area and we either eat outside or on the fold-up table. My preference is a rear living are - you always reverse into a spot and having the living are at the back makes it very private.
Oven? - not sure we have ever used ours.
Separate bed-room; (which is at the front); I'm an early riser and wife is not, I go to bed early and my wife stays up late - having a separate bed-room really works for us.
BGTW - you will never find the "ideal" floor-plan, you'll have to compremise somewhere and we went through 2 trailers before we found this one - which we consider "idea" (I wish the slide was bigger but then.......)
