We had a large rear picture window in our 1st TT (20' Coachmen Catalina, rear dinette) and we really miss it. The rear window not only lets in a lot of light, it sure is great when you're backed up to a nice view.
Any unit with a rear bunkhouse or bathroom is obviously out and a rear kitchen is also out. If looking just at floor plans on the internet, look closer at TTs with a rear dinette, swivel chairs or sofa at the back.
Not a whole lot of rear windows out there from what I've seen and you'll just have to do a bunch of research. No idea when they first became popular. Will not be easy to research on the internet because manufacturer's floor plans are for the current model year. If you google older models including the year, sometimes the dealer selling it will have a link to the floor plan and photos. If you google "travel trailer rear window" or "travel trailer picture window" you will find google image links to possibilities. If you click on any one of the photos, you will find a link to where the photo came from and find the make & model info. for some of them.
