I have lived in one state that was fantastic as far as weather and beautiful lakes but it was primarily a tourist area. The number one source of jobs was hotel and food service so it was terrible for selling motorcycles, vehicles or RV. The local motorcycle dealer said half the population was on some form of assistance. It didn't make them bad people, just not people who were buying those types of items.
