Would you buy a used rebuilt TT from someone you did not know? Better quality materials are only better to those who think they are worth the difference.
Sad to say if you repair or modify it, you own it.
Yes there may be a few folks out there waiting for just your repaired TT, finding them is the trick.
However, if you like it and intend to use it, than resale value is a low priority.
