I use Me Quire's cleaner wax. It takes the black streaks off, and covers most of any scratches. After 10 years of use. My previous aluminum sided TT looked like new. Decals as well.
Thank you, used this today and it did great at taking the black streaks away and left a nice finish. What do you use on your rubber roof? Thanks
Honestly. The only thing I ever did to the roof, was to wash it. Dawn Dishwashing liquid is good. - APTExplorerAerospace 303 Protectant - SPF 40 for your stuff. All I use (no wax) on the exterior of my TT.
- Brett_KExplorerAuto detailing has been a hobby of mine for years and I have used a lot of products many haven't heard of or seen like Klasse, Zaino, Pinnacle, Wolfgang and dozens of other products. I do like Collinite and have been using it for years as well as Klasse products. For shine and durability, there is nothing like a synthetic sealant. It lasts for months instead of weeks . Lately, I really like a blackfire products after having detailed my truck with their sealant last winter. It sits outside and spent 4 months getting hammered with road salt and still beads water. I plan on using Blackfire Total Polish and Seal for the trailer soon.
- poppin_freshExplorerThere are special roof cleaner/treatments and doing some research you will see that there is great debate about whether it's good for or harmful to your roof.

- Bruce_H_ExplorerI use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax. I believe it is similar to the Turtle Wax ICE. Very easy to use, completely synthetic, and gives a nice wet-look.
Bruce - parker21ExplorerProtectall from Camping World and some Walmarts. Nothing easier.
- LowsuvExplorerPeeling decals are generally a function of exposure to the sun .
Higher altitude and sunny days are tough on decals .
Trailers kept under a shed are not subject to the daily heating ( expansion ) and cooling ( contraction ) that can be detrimental .
I find that washing my trailer roof and sides after every trip is what works best in the long run .
Although I mostly use MeGuiars products on my hobby cars I prefer to use the very easy " ICE " by turtlewax .
" ICE " is just a protectant and has no polishing abilities .
However , it is the fastest , easiest to use so I use it frequently .
It can be applied in the sun which some other products do not recommend . - TerryallanExplorer III use Me Quire's cleaner wax. It takes the black streaks off, and covers most of any scratches. After 10 years of use. My previous aluminum sided TT looked like new. Decals as well.
