travel trailer weight
my travel trailer weights 4000 lbs, will I have any problems going up mountain passes with a vehicle that pulls a max. 6,500 lbs?

Don't forget about everything you add to the truck and trailer that will add to the 4000. fluids, luggage, food items, etc. A Tacoma isn't too hefty. Most main roads don't have super grades; however, I encountered a blacktop in Colorado with my half-ton Chevy towing a 25 ft. 5th wheel. Had to go to 1st gear and I began to wonder. Try to weigh your trailer fully loaded and see how it compares to the 6500.
