First trip is supposed to be May 7th about 30 miles from home. The idea was to go to a State Park to see if we thought of everything. However our Governor decided as of May 5th that camping was not going to be allowed. Day use is ok for the park. I'm having trouble understanding how the two of us in a camping spot would be a problem with the virus when hordes of people will be at the beach and boat launch for opening day fishing. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS -
I have been wondering about this also, why would they not allow it when words of folks can walk all around the same area??
I can only think that they feel that IF they open the campgrounds then they have to put employees in direct contact with the public,?.?.? check in, camp host, restrooms, etc . . . . .
But thats only a guess
