Traveling with LOTS of bikes

I'm hoping that someone has some experience and can help me out. We have a 37 ft TT, a 15 passenger van, and 10 kids. We love to bike and when we camp close to home we take two vehicles. The second is a minivan that is STUFFED full of bikes. We would love to be able to take our bikes along without having two vans. I've been researching options but would love to hear some personal experience with traveling with more than just a couple of bikes.

    Definitely a challenge and makes me think of the various racks I've seen over the years. Back to the trailer, over the propane tanks on the tongue, front rack on the van, even roof racks on top of the van. Perhaps some combination of all these, even a couple inside the trailer. Good luck.

    There comes a time when limits are reached and compromises have to be made - that's just the way it is.

    One vehicle, 12 people, a trailer and "lots of bikes" sounds like a limit to me.

    Taking 2 vehicles (like you sometimes do) is a good plan.
