- rbpruExplorer IIThere are some specific area's where you must turn the gas off, tunnels come to mind. Also, some recommended turning it off while filling up at gas stations.
I have never been where I was required to turn the gas off. At Hover Dam you were required to drop your TT a half mile from the dam.
I have never heard of it being illegal to drive down the road with the propane on. - danimal53Explorer

I've traveled with the refrigerator running on gas for years but recently heard it is against the law to do that. I was just wondering how many do it.
Thanks,
against the law? i've been doing for a few years, I'm not aware of a law against it, my understanding was it was designed to do that.
The only thing I've heard was a potential issue if the fridge kicks on at a gas station, if there's a lot of gasoline vapor in the area. - 2oldmanExplorer IIIt's been discussed. A few times.
