We just went on a 3 hour drive from Lexington, Ky. to Charleston, Oh. with our 2014 camper and a fully loaded refrigerator. The fridge was at 33 degrees when we left the house. We arrived at our destination and noticed that the fridge was at 45 degrees and our ice cream was soft. We had 3 large zip lock bags of ice cubes in there and thought that we would be good to go since that would keep everything nice and cold (frozen). I usually turn mine on but figured it was only 3 hours away and I should be safe.
Next month we take a nice long trip to Daytona, definately travel with propane on - they are designed to do this so I consider this safe.
