When I had our tent trailer...it was off....I was one of those nay sayers. New propane tanks have a safety device on them. On our new TT, we do run with propane on, there is no options. It has it‘s advantages and that is that I do not need to buy ice, bring any coolers and keep meat/meals frozen on longer trips...oh can‘t forget the ice cream. I am surprised how much we can fit in the fridge. I still turn it off before I pull up to tge pumps and turn it back on after we leave the pumps.
