I always leave home with full water tanks. Mine are in front of the axle, so it doesn't hurt the towning when it is full or empty. All designs should have the water tanks in front of the axle for best towning results. The problem is that often the black and gray water tanks are behind the axle so at the end of a trip, the water tanks are low or empty and the black and gray water tanks are full, reducing the tongue weight enough to affect towning.
