TT's chuck or porpoise if you want to call it that. I was referring to not needing and WD. Regardless of which one you get either may or may not chuck or porpoise. I'd rather have to deal with just one issue than two at the same time.
What issues do I have that I'm not aware of? With a TT, a WDH can be used to level the TV if the TV is inadequate. With a 5th wheel, bags or some other band aid can be used to level out the TV if it's inadequate for the load.
The only reason I even use a WD hitch is to satisfy the rating of the receiver. The 32.5' TT sits the truck down the same 2" our previous 32' 5th wheel did. With the TT and WDH, I bring it back up one inch and it's actually a smoother ride than we had with the 5th wheel.
