Tricks for keeping restless passenger happy while towing?

My wife was impatient to get to the destination, she and first husband would highball from Vancouver to Reno in a day and a half. She was on me for driving too slow, I finally told her to go with Al if she was in that much of a hurry. She finally learned to relax and enjoy the journey.
We were usually on the road by 9:30 and looking for a campsite by 4 with a leisurely lunch stop in between, it was after all a vacation.
