Our Lance is on the ground or in our gravel floored tractor shed on jacks and jack stands when it's not on the truck. Once we had some very tiny mice show up in there so I sniffed around for their Port of Entry. I found these entryways.
1. heater exhaust vent. Covered same with duct tape. Of course remembering to remove it before camping.
2. connections in the back (outside) of the refrigerator unit. Used expandable foam to seal the cracks. A tiny mouse can get through a very tiny slit.
3. the mouse throughway along the plumbing for the outside shower. fixed.
4. Make sure the screen is full coverage on the top of the refrigerator vent.
The Lance is fairly rodent proof as it comes from the factory.
I'm not a big fan of mothballs in the TC as you will have to live with them too.
