I use a super siphon to fill my tank.. It will empty 5 gallons in 1 min 38 sec, timed by me. When we stop at rest areas to walk dogs and bathroom breaks I'll take 5 minutes and put 10 gallons in. We can go over 300 miles before stopping at a gas station this way.
Why not just get a supplemental tank permanently installed? Maybe an additional 40 or 50 gallons. I suspect that will be an option many 6.4 owners will want to add especially since the range with the stock 31 gallons is not that great towing at 9-10 mpg and the fact that gas stations are often more difficult to get into and out of towing an RV in deference to diesel stations where there is often ample maneuvering room. Maybe part of the approximately $6000+/- saved buying the 6.4 instead of the Cummins can be justified buying more fuel capacity.
Because I don't want one permanately installed. My truck is only used for towing 20% of the time. About 2,000 miles a year. An auxiliary tank would be a waste of money for me.
