That's the main reason I bought my Hemi instead of another Cummins.
The fuel mileage advantage diesels used to have is still there, but it is somewhat diminished. The complexity of the diesel engine has increased with the addition of DPFs and DEF.
The performance gap has also narrowed a bit. The gas engines used to struggle with big loads, but with 410hp, a 6 speed trans, and 4.10 gears, the 6.4L Hemi pulls great.
