Thanks for sharing, thoroughly enjoyed reading your detailed report with pictures and locations.
We were up in that area last year and spent some time at Kaibab Camper Village at Jacob Lake. I do minimal forest service road driving but have found sites within 3 miles off Highway 67 for boondocking.
