As I work on Christmas I rarely celebrate or even note the holiday, but your trip away to the coast put me in a festive mood. I suspect despite the deluge you and Sally had a wonderful time, and I tip my hat to you for ignoring the beastly weather and carrying in the finest British "stiff upper lip" tradition. The areas you visited are ruggedly beautiful, and the people who live there must be hardy folks indeed. Thanks for sharing your trip.
