Very neat trip. We visited the Lake District and Scotland from the USA back in the 90s. I remember the clotted cream scones!

Interesting that bridge in one of your photos. It looks a similar construction to a bridge we saw in Ireland in 2012. This one was built about 800 years ago out of stacked stones. In the USA we get excited when something is 80 years old.
