Trip report: Dolomite Mountains (and 5 other countries)

I wish there were a way to go where you went on this trip without being on those roads! Narrow, steep, crowded, so scary. I can cross the Sierra Nevada on any of the passes without problems, but don't think that my acrophobia would let me complete that road down from the Stelvio Pass.
