Yes, U.S. Navy 3 year tour in Naples, Italy from 1998-2001. We took the kids on several trips to Germany, Austria, and N. Italy.

I also did two 6 month deployments in the Med and Black Sea on a frigate in the mid-90s. We visited all the big ports in Spain, Sicily, Greece, Egypt, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, and Cyprus.
