Thanks for the report, Mike. We were actually there at the same time, but we turned off to the Strike Valley Overlook and the Upper Muley Twist Canyon trailhead. Driving in cut 6 miles roundtrip off our dayhike, but it was a rough road....not for all TCs, and it took us 40 mins to go in the 3 miles with our Outfitter. But the 9.5 mile hike was one of the top hikes we've ever done. The views are staggering. There are a few exposed areas, so it's not for the faint of heart, but if any avid hikers are out there, I wouldn't miss this hike if you're along the Burr Trail. As Mike says, "the highlight of the trip".
