- budwichExplorerOK... please recap exactly where you are at... gfi still tripping with all applicance removed? also furnace fuse blowing? These are potentially two issues... maybe. The GFI circuits typically only involve 120v while the furnace only involves 12v.
IF GFI is still tripping with all stuff along its circuit path unplugged, then its likely wiring leaving the gfi going to the various plugs. You need to disconnect (and inspect) the wiring at the next plug in the "daisy chain". Once disconnected at the "next far plug", does the gfi still kick out. If not, then the issue is further down the "daisy". IF so, then the issue is between the GFI and the disconnected "daisy". You repeat the checks by connecting the "daisy" moving to the next "daisy" in the chain. In terms of physical checks, you are looking for some aspects that is likely "bridging" the neutral to ground in the wiring / boxes along the chain.
In terms of the fan, potentially check your thermostat / wiring there of. If possible, disconnect the furnace control border and see what this results in terms of the fuse.
Of course, it is not obvious how these are specifically related to the microwave "incident". :-( Although possibly the ground fault has caused an issue in the furnace control board / motor or viceversa. - poppin_freshExplorerIf you replaced the GFI and it still trips, something down stream is not right. You might either have a bad outlet or some damaged wires somewhere along the circuit. It's doing its job by tripping and you need to figure out why.
Your only option is to start tracing and looking for the issue. It might be time to get an electrician to take a look. - mntnv7231ExplorerInside the power converter is where all fuses are one fuse continually trips and that is for the furnace
- mntnv7231ExplorerWhen this issue occurred trailer was plugged in with the light extension cord microwave was turned on and have had problems ever since could it possibly be the power converter?
- mntnv7231ExplorerI unplug microwave and the refrigerator both were before the GFI still tripped will not reset
- mntnv7231ExplorerI have hooked it up to shore power two outlets before the GFI work GFI will not reset I'm using correct amperage extension cords this time that was an issue
- Mark_and_LindaExplorerAny solution yet? Just wonder if it was the Microwave?
- a-d-sExplorerNot sure either extent of works and doesn't, but check the element in your hot water tank. If it's failed and shorting out then the gfi at the house will trip. I had that and it was difficult to track down but easy to fix once I knew.
You can also try systematically unhooking neutral wires off the main bus for each circuit until you isolate the problem. That is assuming you are comfkrtable with that level of electrical work. Be safe! - budwichExplorer

unplug the microwave. does the gfi still trip? IF so you know it is NOT the microwave. You then need to check the receptacle where it was plugged in to ensure that the wiring is not touching anything there in. With trailer movement, receptacles and wiring in them can move / loosen causing issues. - EV2ExplorerLong extension cord very possibly overloaded and failed. Did you check the cord for continuity of positive, neutral and ground. A long, light extension card is incapable of providing proper voltage and amperage fora microwave or air conditioner and can actually go up in smoke.
