truck bed covers

Got my new 2013 3500 dually now looking for a truck bed cover,
extang solid tri fold cover or the fold a cover or ????
  • I have a solid cover that removes easily when we don't need it. It is from "Undercover", This is the 3rd I have had. Love them, strong, and light and mostly thief and water tight, aroung $1000 installed.
  • yes i read your earlier post but it didnt say witha 8ft BED

If you read my earlier post it was for me with a tri fold.
  • Not sure if you're set on a hard cover but I love my Extang Trifecta which is a trifold soft tonneau. I've had one on my last truck and one on my current truck and really like them. The reason I went with the soft tonneau is I've read issues with hard tonneaus leaking in the seams between panels. The Trifecta is one piece so the only place it can leak moisture in is around the outside seal. I also like how light it is so its very easy to fold up or remove completely.
  • My tri-fold comes off when towing. I store it in the trailer for travel. Then it goes back on in about a minute, when the trailer is parked. Works for me.
  • I have a Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite. Folds in fours and does not stack real high when folded completely. Lots of youtube videos of it. Happy so far.
  • I love my roll-n-lock
    roll it in when pulling
    roll it out not pulling
    never remove the fifthwheel hitch
  • I have a trifold which is very nice, but when folded up when making to sharp a turn on uneven ground I could possibly hit my 5th wheel cap. I didn't have that problem with my roll cover. So now when using the 5th wheel I go without! So check it out if you plan to pull a 5th wheel.
