I agree, the flatbed with boxes from Alum-Line will add 7" of height and weigh 1000lbs, that is too much height and too much weight robbed from my cargo capacity. They claim to be custom TC systems
Most of these custom builds seem start in some sort of flatbed configuration then they build around them. I think maybe Dougless Truck Bodies in Bakersfield makes something that drops between the wheel wells to keep the height down, but they are made of steel which would be even more weight.
